A lot of these pieces, I had them for more than 2 years now like the banana trousers, pumps, the cardigans, and most tops. One of my favorite “occasions” is…a cozy day at home with absolutely nothing on the calendar! Even though you’re not doing much, you still want to feel put together, comfortable, and like you can comfortably answer the door if you need to. This set is by Jenni Kayne and you may remember it from this post where I feature some of the best loungewear trends. I love the combo of these two pieces together, but you could wear them as separates too.

If you’ve been working from home and primarily dress from the waist up, the same goes for sweats you’ve worn into the ground—bring on the polish. If you want casual but cute, this next pick is for you. The outfit features a plaid shirt with black ripped jeans.
Basic work staples for fall
But if you want to add a contrast to your outfit, then go for a complementary color top. In Outfit#1 even though I wore a purple top with leopard print, the whole mood of the outfit is still warm hence it’s not too flashy on the eyes. Here a brown plaid blazer is paired with a neutral sweater and burgundy pants for a classy chic fall office outfit.

It looks great with jeans and a tee and with your business casual outfits. A blazer provides structure to an outfit – another element of classy chic looks. Not to make you feel rushed or anything since you're probably in peak summer mode, but fall will be here faster than you think! While you're enjoying your beach and/or pool time, you can at least multitask by getting ahead on the seasons and browsing these cute fall work outfits. Fall is in full swing, and it’s high time to dress up to feel warm and comfy and to look stylish everywhere including work.
Printed Dress, a Shirt Jacket, and Tall Boots
Although pants are a great option for work during the fall, dresses add diversity to your look. Simply be sure you pick appropriate styles, like a pencil, wrap or A-line, and that the length and fit are appropriate for work. The key to stylish and modern dress pants is in the silhouette.

They aren’t necessarily “trendy” but classy chic outfits are current. And no, we're not talking about a pair of nondescript black pants plus a no-wrinkle button-down. Here we break down five office-friendly fall outfit pairings you'll want to wear for months. Come up with your own version of each look, or stick with one you like .
Light Neutral Fall Outfit
Skirts are fun but can be challenging to pair sometimes. If you are not sure what color to pair with the skirt, always go for the top in the same color family as the skirt. For example, In Outfit #2 I wore a same color floral design top as the skirt.

If you want to have a little more sophistication at the game, bust out something like this! I’m wearing a pair of old Mother distressed jeans but I’ll link something similar. To stay warm, I’m wearing a Herno high-neck puffer.
These will instantly transform your look for the new season. Something like this is also perfect for busy ladies on the go. If you don’t have time to pick out the perfect outfit just wear jeans, a top and finish off with your poncho. If you’re looking for a stylish sweater then have a look at this one. Not only that but it will suit anything from jeans and sneakers to a skirt and boots.

This is a look that everyone can wear and it is relaxed and comfortable. Plaid shirts are great to have in the wardrobe for any season. Summer will be over but you can still look stylish in a dress. Lace dresses in dark colors are great for the fall.
What is really nice about the pencil skirt is that it is comfortable and you can wear it in confidence because it also flatters the body well. Patterned or not, the pencil skirt is very cute. On days when I don’t feel like tucking in I go for jogger style trousers. They are stylish plus look great with untucked tops and messy buns. You can dress up joggers easily by wearing them with heels or keep it relaxed by opting for loafers/sneakers. Jumpsuits are another one-piece outfit makers only if you manage to find onewith sleeves.

Mixing and matching solid colors is a super cute look. Cardigans are my favorite way to add color to a work outfit. You can wear the same top and bottom for straight 2 days by only switching the cardigan and no one will notice that you wore the same thing as the day before.
Solid color tops are elegant, but prints can have a place in classy chic outfits. Smaller prints like florals are feminine and feminine pieces help you pull off elegant looks. Your favorite white T-shirt and jeans might not sound all that dressy, but tuck in the shirt and add a double-breasted blazer for an instantly chic work outfit. Complete it with comfortable loafers if you’re on your feet for most of the day. A matching set, like this white top and skirt, is an effortlessly elevated approach to fall work outfits. For an autumnal spin, walnut-colored ankle boots are sleek in contrast.

It is also layered with a beautiful coat for when the weather gets colder. You could wear everything together like this and each item is a great separate that will look great with other items. Make a big impression of the people you meet at work with your fall work outfits. These earrings are the perfect bold statement that is trendy and professional. While keeping all outfits colorful, easy and fall appropriate.
